Fewer people bring cash on a Sunday. TheTin is a cashless collection tin for churches: one page and a printable QR so a congregant, visitor, or guest can give an offering without a bank number on a slip of paper. Money goes to the church’s own Stripe account. TheTin never holds it.
Sunday and beyondWhere cashless offerings fit
TheTin is for the moments a church already collects face to face:
- Sunday offering — the plate still goes round; people who have no coins can still give.
- Foyer and noticeboard — a standing invitation after the service, not only during it.
- Visitors — guests who will not join an envelope scheme can still leave a gift that day.
- Special appeals and events — a building fund, a mission Sunday, a concert in the hall. Sub-pages sit under your main church address so each appeal has its own story without a new login.

Your page, your Stripe account
The church claims one main page, connects Stripe, and prints. Givers do not need a TheTin account. Stripe Checkout may offer card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay depending on the giver’s country, device, browser, and eligibility — not every person will see every method.
TheTin’s fee is 1c–99c NZD per payment. Stripe’s processing fee is separate. No signup fee, no monthly bill from TheTin. Fees explained.

Churches and charities are who TheTin is built for. Anyone collecting occasionally can use the same product. Charities looking at appeals and stalls should start on Charities.
