A church donation QR code only works if people can scan it, trust it, and find the same page next year. TheTin prints one code and one readable web address for a permanent page. That address cannot be renamed, so a poster on the wall does not go stale.
PlacementPrint dark on light, leave a quiet margin around the code, and test a scan from the distance a visitor will actually stand. Sunday-by-Sunday offering practice is on Churches.
TheTin page addresses are reserved forever. You cannot rename the main address after it is claimed. Nobody else gets an old address, even if you delete the account. That is so a printed QR cannot later send a gift to a stranger.
Print the plain URL beside the code. Some people will not scan. Both paths must land on the same page.
The phone opens the church’s TheTin page. The giver chooses an amount and pays through Stripe Checkout. Stripe Checkout may offer card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay depending on country, device, browser, and eligibility. TheTin never holds the money. The fee is 1c–99c NZD per payment; Stripe’s processing fee is separate.
Churches and charities are who TheTin is built for. Cashless giving.
